The UK price comparison site ILoveCashback.com revealed the top bargain buys based on searches of the site by 18-24 year-olds. It seems recent revelations of the average annual student debt rising by 6.4 per cent in the past year has made traditional student cuisine more appealing.
Managing director Brad Blake said: "With university students preparing to take on more debt than ever as a result of the Government's decision to raise the cap on tuition fees, budgeting is essential."
The results were released yesterday by the site, which combines price comparison, voucher codes and cashback.
