Scarlett Johansson's role in the upcoming Avengers film looks to be heavy on action if the latest pictures of the redhead hurtling around the set are anything to go by.
The actress has returned to the bright red barnet she sported in Iron Man 2 to reprise her role as Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, although she appears to have lost quite a few inches off the length. We're assuming the chop was for pragmatic action-film-related reasons - after all no-one likes getting a sweaty neck as they pelt around the city.
