PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Lucien Laviscount has said he feels "like a muppet" after Amy Childs dashed his hopes of a Big Brother romance.
The former Coronation Street actor had grown close to The Only Way Is Essex star in the house and confessed his feelings to her. But his hopes were dashed when she said she didn't fancy him.
Laviscount said in the diary room: "It's like your parents telling you you're going to Disneyland Florida - and then you find out you're going to Disneyland Paris.
"It's not the same. I feel like a Muppet - I got shot down."
Big Fat Gypsy Weddings star Paddy Doherty had warned Laviscount that Childs was "a player".
Kerry Katona then confronted Childs and told her her flirting could be seen as leading him on.
Childs insisted she didn't fancy Laviscount and that they were just good friends, which left Laviscount heartbroken.
He told her: "You're a gorgeous girl and I'm into you. You got me under a spell. But now you shut me down.
"You're such a blagger. I am sick of being like a lovesick puppy."
