Twenty Dead In Pakistan Blasts. Ten Killed Outside Court In India

At least 20 people have been killed in the southwest Pakistani city of Quetta following what is believed to be twin attacks. According to the BBC, a military official’s wife and children are among the dead.

The blasts, reported to be a car bomb and a suicide bomb, took place close to the residences of members of Pakistan’s military.

According to the AFP News Agency, member of the country’s Frontier Corps, currently fighting al-Qaeda and Taliban militants on the Afghan border, are among the victims.

Meanwhile, ten are reported dead and 45 injured following a similar explosion in New Delhi, India.

A briefcase bomb exploded near to the gate to the High Court at around 10am. Scores are reported injured.

Following the blast, the court house was sealed off by special forces.

According to Sky news, a Muslim militant group has claimed responsibility for the blast in an email, but investigators have yet to release their name.
