The Perfect 10: Gwyneth Paltrow
Back when Gwyneth Paltrow first found fame, she demonstrated a penchant for the more daring of designs when it came to her red carpet styling. The fledgling starlet ensured she got noticed at the premiere of Shakespeare in Love in this sheer embellished creation.
Who can forget that candy pink Oscars frock? Gwynnie opted for this all-encompassing bubblegum Ralph Lauren dress to walk the red carpet with dad Bruce Paltrow, and in which she later collected her Best Actress prize. Perhaps not her most stylish look ever, but a memorable one, nonetheless.
Gwyneth showed she was fast earning her style stripes when she walked the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival in this glistening Valentino design, and on the arm of the designer himself.
Gwyneth stole the show at the 2005 Oscars, when she showed off her impressive post-baby figure in this nude Stella McCartney frock, with full satin skirt. Long flowing locks and a smattering of jewels completed the A-list look.
One of our favourite Gwyneth style moments of all time, the actress was a knockout at the 2007 Oscars in this stunning Zac Posen fishtail gown.
Gwyneth had jaws hitting the floor at the London premiere of Iron Man back in 2008. Those legs! That hair! It wasn't just her newly chopped locks that got everyone talking, it was her amazing figure, in that thigh-skimming LBD. Yummy mummy indeed.
Gwyneth opted for another micro-minidress at the 2009 Grammys, hitting the stage in this glittering Versace number, paired with subtle grey tights and statement heels.
Another outing, another Versace style hit from Gwynnie. The actress had us all falling in love with her stunning ombre Atelier Versace dress at the 2010 CMAs, which included a cheeky cut-away side panel and thigh-high split.
Gwyneth reserved one of her most daring red carpet looks to date for the LA premiere of Country Strong, flashing the flesh in this risque Emilio Pucci dress. On some, this could have looked trashy, but somehow Ms Paltrow makes it look classy.
Gwyneth's gorgeous silver Calvin Klein column dress had her making all the best dressed lists at this year's Oscars. Everything, from the minimal frock, to the sleek locks and glowing makeup, is perfection.
