TV presenter Jenni Falconer has given birth to her first baby - a little girl called Ella Rose.
Jenni, who had until recently been covering new mum Holly Willoughby'smaternity leave on This Morning, announced her happy news on her Twitter page with the message:
'The wait was worth it....our beautiful baby girl, Ella Rose Midgley, arrived last night at 12.37 weighing 7lb 2oz. We are totally smitten!'
Over the past week Jenni had been sharing her overdue woes with her 85,221 Twitter followers, admitting she was at the end of her pregnancy tether with her big bump:
'The baby is like its mother and running late. It's obviously planning a 'meet the world' outfit.'
Ella Rose is the first baby for Jenni and husband, James Midgley.
Congratulations Jenni and James - what a beautiful name!
