Audley Harrison Promises Sensitive 'Strictly Come Dancing' Performance

He Has A 'Sensitive' Side?

PRESS ASSOCIATION -- Strictly star Audley Harrison has promised a "sensitive" performance on this weekend's show despite being dubbed "Shrek" by his dancing partner Natalie Lowe.

The former heavyweight boxer is performing a waltz with Lowe as their debut dance.

He said: "It's a very regal dance, very elegant, so I'm hopeful that me and Natalie together will put a dance in where you get to see my strong side and my sensitive side."

Speaking to the BBC during training sessions, he said was not offended by her comparing him to the green cartoon ogre.

He said: "Can you imagine Shrek, me, pretty Audley with beautiful nose, smile, Shrek?"

The 6ft 5in former heavyweight, who won Olympic gold in Sydney in 2000, has size 17 feet and is the biggest contestant yet to take to the floor in the hit BBC ballroom show.

The first seven couples will make their dancing debuts in tomorrow's show, followed by the rest on Saturday night.

Other celebrities in this series include Holly Valance, The One Show's Alex Jones and former footballer Robbie Savage.
