Science Proves This Isn't F**king Dalston

The precise location of Dalston, that elusive area between Stoke Newington and Shoreditch, has been established by science. Well, by the scientific(ish) survey of 225 locals conducted by Euan Mills, an urban designer based in Hackney.

Anyone who's ever tried to get to a warehouse party, fashion sale or nail salon in the area will feel Mills' pain. The zone up Kingsland Road east of the Silicon Roundabout is long, varied and popular.

The opinion-based survey can also be backed up with fact. Four eponymous Dalston landmarks now make the area indisputable - Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction overground stations, Dalston Superstore and the hottest new ticket in the area, Dalston Rooftop Park.

However, we think the latter is far from scientific fact and is based purely on subjective, sun-loving opinion.
