The Western Mail has struck a chord with its rugby world cup audience by producing a front page which has set Twitter alight with admiration.
Monday’s paper, headlined “IS THIS HOW YOU FEEL?” lists a series of 15 aliments readers could be suffering from.
“Can’t sleep. Can’t stop thinking about the game. Can’t stop imagining what a great week this would have been in Wales,” it asks.
Wales crashed out of the world cup on Saturday morning after losing to France in the semi-finals following a controversial refereeing decision.
The dedication to the Welsh team finishes in rip roaring spirit: “Can’t stop believing in this truly magnificent team. Warren Gatland’s Wales – you’ve set the nation and the world alight. Don’t stop now.”
Twitter reacted positively with people tweeting it as “amazing” and “The Western Mail perfectly sums up the feeling of the Welsh today”.
Now, who said newspapers were dead?
