Adolf Hitler And Aryan Nation: Parents Who Gave Children Nazi Names Lose Custody

A couple who named their children ‘Adolf Hitler’ and ‘Aryan Nation’ will not regain custody of their three children in Holland, New Jersey, a court has ruled.

Heath and Deborah Campbell who live in a house adorned with swastikas and other Nazi memorabilia were found not guilty of child abuse. However Adolf Hitler, 5, Aryan Nation, 4 and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell, 3 will remain in care, as they have done since 2009.

The news of the poorly named children is shocking people around the world, as Adolf Hitler is now trending on Twitter in the UK, the USA, France, Italy and even Germany.

The Campbells allege that authorities investigated their children after a bakery refused to ice a cake with “Happy Birthday Adolf Hitler.” Despite managing to procure the inscription from another cake shop, their children were taken away from them soon after.

Authorities claim this was because of an anonymous call reporting child abuse.

The parents insist that the children’s names are nothing to do with Nazi worship and although

Heath Campbell has tattoos of swastika on his arms, he says this is because he appreciates art, not because he endorses neo-Nazism.

Similarly they chose the names for their children because they said that they were unusual. Mr. Campbell argued that just because his son was called Adolf Hitler didn’t mean he would grow up to be like the Nazi dictator. Alarming reports from the court showed that Adolf, the eldest child, frequently threatened to kill people.

The children were decided not to be returned to their parents because it emerged that the Campbells had both suffered from child abuse as children and whilst they were unemployed were deemed to have unspecified mental and physical illnesses.

The parents have been picketing outside a child protection agency in New Jersey to try and regain custody of their children. Their next court date is scheduled for December.
