Mark Wright To Quit 'The Only Way Is Essex' To Enter Jungle For 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'

Mark Wright Swaps One Reality Show For Another

Mark Wright is set to follow in the footsteps of Kerry Katona Stacey Solomon and Amy Childs by swapping one reality TV show for another.

According to the Sun newspaper, The Only Way is Essex's resident Lothario, 24, will break his Brentwood fanbase's hearts by quitting the show to take part in I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The show is due to start filming next month in Queensland, north-eastern Australia, where rumoured jungle-mates for Wright could include comedian Freddie Star and Ryan Giggs' former flame Imogen Thomas.

An insider told the Sun: "TOWIE will always mean a lot to him but he's become a proper celebrity since being on the show.

"No one makes any cash on TOWIE and he's nearly done three series now so he's been looking for new opportunities. He wants to spread his wings and do more TV stuff."

Wright will be hoping to emulate the success of former co-star Childs, who quit the Essex show in the summer and has now been given her own reality show on Channel 5, despite a poor showing on Celebrity Big Brother.
