The world's first alcohol-free whisky, ArKay, is hitting the shops in time for Christmas this year.
Office parties might be lacking some of the traditional yuletide embarrassment if the drink takes off in time for party season, and it could prove to be a hit with drivers who fancy a wee dram of winter whisky at Christmas.
How impressed real whisky connoisseurs will be with the 'whisky-flavoured drink' in a can remains to be seen, but the manufacturers claim that it is tasty enough to be drunk straight-up.
It conforms to Halal guidelines, so Muslims will be able to enjoy the whisky taste without breaking any religious codes.

The cans will be hitting the shops on the 1st December, at £4 a can.
