Debbie Harry Takes Home Ultimate Icon Award (PICTURES)

Debbie Harry is famous as one of punk's most glamorous icons, and she proved last night she can still strike a pose.

The eternally striking Blondie frontwoman was in London to receive an 'Ultimate Icon' gong, at this year's Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards.

Blondie had a string of hits in the 1970s and early 1980s with such dancefloor fillers as Heart of Glass, Hanging On The Telephone, Atomic and Call Me.

When they disbanded, Harry had some solo success, including the single I Want That Man in 1989.

Blondie reunited briefly in 1997, and have recently recorded fresh material. Harry has also worked as an ambassador for MAC Cosmetics'

Viva Glam VI campaign, which donates every cent of the selling price of their lipstick shades to the MAC AIDS Fund, which helps people living with HIV/AIDS worldwide.
