Lady Gaga Sweeps MTV Awards In Belfast With Four Prizes (PHOTOS)

Lady Gaga swept all before her at last night's MTV EMA Awards, picking up four of the evening's most coveted prizes - Best Song and Best Video, both for her anthem Born This Way, and Best Female. She also took home Biggest Fan, a new award that recognises the artist with the most committed fanbase.

Arriving on stage to receive the award for Best Song, Gaga did not disappoint with her outfit. Her head was covered in an enormous satellite-dish creation that completely hid her face. She told the audience, "I'm smiling. I know you can't tell. I've had a lot of Botox."

While she was waiting to go on stage, Gaga was sitting in front of Queen rockers Brian May and Roger Taylor, there to receive a Global Icon Award. Gaga's outfit was so enormous that it completely blocked Brian May - even his hair - from view, and he couldn't see anything either, which caused him to have a fit of the giggles.

Gaga also proved why she's one of the world's dynamic performers, performing her song Marry the Night while perched precariously on top of a giant moon sculpture. She was attached only by chains, and it was a relief when she eventually came down and joined her dancers in an energetic display, while keeping her voice at top notch. It was an all-round tour de force that raised the roof at the Belfast arena.
