Victoria Beckham into the fickle world of fashion, by releasing her first ever clothing collection...
Down with the kids: Emma Bunton releases a children's clothing collection for Argos. Photo courtesy of Argos.
But VB needn't worry about the competition. While Mrs Beckham is busy dressing Hollywood's finest in her form-fitting frocks, Emma's range will be catering to a completely different market: children.
The singer-turned-radio DJ is set to release a 99-piece kids clothing collection in collaboration with Argos - for both boys and girls aged newborn to ten years old - which will hit stores in January.
"As a mum myself I'm forever searching for fun and fashionable clothes for my boys, that are comfortable and practical too - clothes they really want to wear," explained Emma.
"Working with Argos has given me the opportunity to create exactly that. I've worked hard on every piece in the range; the designs, colours, fabrics, prints and cuts and I'm so proud of the outcome."
The collection will be part-modelled by Emma's gorgeous four-year-old son Beau (pictured above), in a sweet mirroring of the early days of his mum's career.
"As a child I modelled for Argos and featured in the catalogue several times," Emma continued.
"It's great to make a return appearance, this time with my own range - it's something I've always wanted to do."
