Since 2004, Bruce Chadwick has worked as a private military contractor (PMC) in Iraq, providing security and intelligence to reconstruction teams.
Yet unlike most PMC’s, wherever Chadwick travelled, he always carried his camera, with his collection, available online, offering a unique insight into a side of Iraq seldom seen on TV or in newspapers, archiving daily life in the post-Saddam state.
Despite being an amateur snapper, Chadwick’s pictures caught the attention of some of the major media outlets, with his photos appearing on the BBC, in Italy and in the US.
