Korean Security Guard Santas Provide Kung Fu Protection For Seoul Shops (VIDEO)

Santa hats off to Kim Young-mok, director of the Safety and Security team at Coex Mall, Seoul, South Korea, for coming up with the inspired idea of putting all his security guards in Santa outfits during the holiday season.

Sure, the actual suits are a little ropey, and their beards look like they were stuck on with Pritt Stick, but come on, it's the thought that counts, right? Good. Glad that's sorted.

Peforming high kicks and other Tae Kwon Do moves before a crowd of photographers, the festive uniform swap has been a massive PR success for the mall - no doubt helped by the free sweets the guards are giving out to passing shoppers.

South Korea is home to one of Asia's largest Christian populations, and visitors to the mall have been keen to get their photos taken with the pseudo-Santas - with the option of Tae Kwon Do poses available. It doesn't get much more Christmassy than that, now does it?
