Rare White Reindeer Could Well Be The Christmassiest Thing Ever

What's cuter than a regular real-life reindeer? That's right, a white real-life reindeer!

Meet Snowy the baby reindeer, an absurdly cute white caribou who's taken up residence at the Victoria Farm Garden Centre in Whitby, North Yorkshire.

You might be thinking that Snowy was specially sent for from Lapland, but it turns out that she was born and bred on the garden centre's own farm here in England.

"The chances of a snow white reindeer being born is roughly one in 10,000," said Snowy's owner, Mark Noble. "We feel very lucky to have Snowy, and we were delighted when we discovered her in one of the fields on our farm."

Despite what you may think, this whiter-than-white six-month-old baby sleigh-puller isn't actually an albino, just a little reindeer with a very rare genetic mutation that's changed its hairs' pigment.

But you know how she's called Snowy? Well it turns out her name isn't set in stone, with visitors to the garden centre being asked to suggest other possible names for the ickle reindeer. Our suggestion? Ralph. Hmm. Maybe you guys can do better. Almost certainly, in fact...
