Kym Marsh has said she'd love her fiance Jamie Lomas to make an appearance on Coronation Street.
But the actress, who plays Michelle Connor, said former Hollyoaks star Jamie probably wouldn't fancy joining another soap just yet.
"I'd love him to do it, I think he'd be brilliant. I think he'd be great on the Street," Kym said.
"I could see him there, but he's just left soap so I think he'll be wanting to leave soap alone for a little while."
The mum of three, who is involved in the Text Santa charity campaign, added: "We'd get on with it, we're both very professional. I don't think there'd be any bickering. I don't think we'd bring our problems to work or arguments.
"But I don't think they'd dare put us together, I think that'd be a bit too far-fetched."
Kym gave birth to the couple's daughter Polly nine months ago, but said reports that she plans to marry Jamie next year are wide of the mark.
"We haven't got any wedding plans. I don't know why people keep saying that I said we were getting married, because I didn't! I just said we may get married next year, we may not, and that's turned into we're getting married.
"It's the last thing on our minds really. We don't feel we desperately have to get married, we're together and that's enough. When we decide, we'll just go off and do it. If there are showbiz people there, it'll only be because they're friends of ours. And there'd be a bit of a ruction if people from Corrie weren't at it!"
