Little Mix Vow Not To End Up As Girl-Band Wags

Wag Ban

A Posh and Becks style relationship is off the cards for The X Factor winners Little Mix as the girl group have been banned from dating footballers.

Since their triumph in last Sunday's final, comparisons between Little Mix and the Spice Girls have been aplenty but the girls have vowed not to "do a Posh Spice" and marry a footballer.

The four-piece have insisted they will not end up like other girl-band Wags, with Perrie Edwards, 18, saying she doesn’t like footballers anyway describing them as "horrible".

Her bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 19, agrees that she couldn't see herself as a Wag. "Our band is all about girl power," she said. Now, where have we have heard that before..?

Jade Thirlwall, 19, has been compared to her pop idol Cheryl Cole but will not be following the Girls Aloud star in the husband department with any Ashley Cole-esque marriages.

The girl group met Emma Bunton (aka Baby Spice) this week and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) has sent them flowers with a note saying "girlpower".

But Leigh-Anne says she is definitely more like Scary Mel B. "I don’t take any old s***," she declared.
