We last saw Russell Grant being shot out of a cannon on his ultimately triumphant exit from Strictly Come Dancing- never mind Harry Judd's victory, we all know our cherubic horoscoper stole the show - and now he's evidently very much in demand for an even camper extravaganza.

Yes, Grant's ducks have truly lined up in a row this year, with a request from the Maltese 'authorities' to perform for them in the Eurovision Song Contest.

The Sun quotes a friend of the reborn star, saying: "He was thrilled but a bit perplexed to be asked to represent Malta as he has no link to the country.

"The only Maltesers he knows are in a box of chocolates."
