Ex-EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy is back on speaking terms with her former fiance, eight months after he was convicted of assaulting her.
The Celebrity Big Brother contestant split from Adam Cottrell, the father of her daughter, last summer after their relationship turned violent.
He admitted hitting the actress and last June was sentenced to 120 hours community service and handed a restraining order to keep him away from Natalie.
The order has now been lifted and the former couple have started spending time together again at the star's home. He's has also been seen out with Natalie and their daughter Eliza in London.
Confirming they are back in contact, Natalie's representative told The Mirror: "The restraining order against Adam has been lifted due to Adam seeking help for his alcohol dependency. As a result, Natalie and Adam are on civil terms."
However, a source suggests they are rekindling their romance, adding: "Adam is a genuinely lovely guy and he has been working very hard to deal with the issues which had come between them. Natalie loves him very much and they have a strong bond through Eliza.
