Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock has dumped her boyfriend of five years after her hectic pop star schedule came between them.
The 19 year old has been on a whirlwind adventure since the band triumphed on last year's X Factor.
After becoming the first girl group to win the talent show, the foursome was swept off to complete in the national The X Factor tour with the other finalists.
However, Leigh-Anne's pop star dreams have sounded the death knell for her relationship with beau Nathanual Diamond, who she has decided to ditch because she is too busy.
The singer gave Nathanual the heave-ho just days after they returned from a holiday in Barbados.
Speaking to The Sun about the split, she said: "I've split up with Nathanual. I'm really sad but I had to end the relationship as I'm just so busy with everything going on with Little Mix. It's upsetting but I hope we'll remain friends.
"We've been in the studio non-stop recording tracks and then straight into rehearsals for the X Factor Tour.
"The tour goes on for two months then we'll be straight into promo for our music. There just isn't time for a relationship at the moment, and I wouldn't do anything half-heartedly."
Her 21-year-old ex insists he saw the break-up coming a mile off, but suspects she has her sights set on a celeb lover.
He adds: "I suspected that something may have been going on with someone out of One Direction or The Risk. But I don't know if it happened. She'd never tell me.
"She said she didn't think it was going to work as she had too much going on. Everyone was telling me she'd split up with me, so I was ready to be honest. But it was still massive blow.
"Now she's doing what she's doing she don't want to be with someone less fortunate than herself. When I knew she had won I told her that everyone said she would change but she said she'd still be the same."
