Dragons' Den star Duncan Bannatyne has declared himself 'out' of his second marriage after five years.
The gym tycoon finalised his divorce from Joanne McCue in secret in December.
The multi-millionaire announced the split from Joanne, who is a former employee, last year but refused to talk about it, with some sources suggesting the pair were sorting out their issues.
However, court records show the split was made official before Christmas.
A source tells The Sun: "It was far from amicable. Duncan just wants to move on but he has had a very traumatic few months."
It was claimed that Joanne was demanding a massive payout, which included £1,000 a day and their holiday home in France, as well as payments for their children.
Duncan was alleged to have said the divorce would force him to lay off 43 people from his business, which is estimated to be worth £430 million.
A pal previously told the Daily Mail: "The thing is that his wife thinks he is much richer than he is after looking at the Sunday Times Rich List.
"In reality, he is worth nowhere near her astronomical figure. Duncan's told the other Dragons about the problem and one of them even joked that he might have no money left to invest."
Duncan has been open about how the breakdown of his first marriage left him devastated and admits he even considered suicide.
He revealed: "I'd get in the car, drive to work, stop in a lay-by and start crying. I came very close to considering suicide. I knew life just wasn't right."
Duncan also has four kids from his first marriage.
