Legendary rocker Meat Loaf has sparked fresh fears for his health after he was taken ill just minutes before a live television appearance on Wednesday.
The Bat Out of Hell singer was due to appear on chat show Loose Women and seemed in good spirits as he larked about with a banana on his head in the green room during the show.
However, the musician failed to make it into the main studio due to his condition - the details of which are currently unknown.
Host Andrea McLean told viewers: "A little bit of sad news - I'm afraid Meat Loaf has taken unwell so he's unable to join us for the end of the show... Meat Loaf, I hope you feel better soon."
The star, real name Marvin Lee Aday, suggested he wasn't in the right frame of mind on Monday when he appeared on BBC's The One Show, saying: "My brain's a little mush."
In July last year, Meat Loaf collapsed on stage during a US show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and later the same week he passed out again during a show at the New Jersey Balloon Festival.
Following the incidents, the rocker told fans, "I f**king fainted. I have asthma... I can't breathe."
