Kym Marsh has fuelled rumours her relationship with Hollyoaks hunk Jamie Lomas is at danger point after she was spotted without her engagement ring.
The Corrie star ventured out a day after reports suggesting the romance is on the rocks surfaced, and she seemed to have forgotten the sparkling diamond she wears on her wedding finger.
Despite beaming a confident smile to the snappers when she was photographed in London, the star tried to cover up her ringless digit by slipping her hand in her pocket.
"She was also placing it behind her back and in her pocket as much as possible."
Kym and Jamie, who have been together since 2008 and have a daughter together, are said to be struggling to maintain their long distance relationship since the actor jetted off to LA in a bid to break into the movies.
An insider added to the newspaper: "Kym had no idea how difficult the time apart would prove for them.
"She was always supportive of Jamie's decision to go out to America - acting is a tough industry and you have to make sacrifices. But she wants him to come home now...
"It has really put a strain on their relationship. The combination of the distance between them and the stress Kym is under at home has led to several arguments over the phone and on Skype.
"It's a tough time for their relationship. It is on the rocks right now. Only time will tell if they come through it."
Kym is currently balancing looking after the couple's 10-month-old daughter Polly and her two children from a previous relationship, as well as her full-time job on the ITV soap.
