A 22-year-old woman has been charged with battering her 74-year-old lover.
Sierra Chaffin apparently pushed Marcos Beita in the stomach with both hands during an altercation at their Florida home.
The incident was witnessed by Beita’s physical therapist and a woman who was preparing his lunch.
A report prepared by a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputy states: “Both the defendant and the victim agreed that they had a physical intimate relationship and are currently residing together, however, on the date of this incident, the defendant was moving her belongings out of the residence.”
The report quotes a witness named Melissa, who revealed: “I was making Marcos lunch when someone knocked on the door. Marcos opened the window part on the door and he realised Sierra was standing there asking for her belongings.
“After asking Marcos to step outside with her she refused to allow him to get back into his house. She stood in front of him and when he tried to get around her when she pushed him back off the steps. Since he just had a triple bypass he walked away to the table and sat back down.”
According to the Smoking Gun, Chaffin has previous arrests for possession of a controlled substance, theft, resisting arrest, battery and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is currently in the county jail.
Beita, who recently underwent open heart surgery, was arrested four months ago for stealing from a person over the age of 65.
