The Awakening Now On DVD: Director Nick Murphy Explains All (EXCLUSIVE CLIP)

The Awakening helped audiences see star Rebecca Hall in a new light when it was released late last year.

Instead of her usual glamorous sun-kissed roles (Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Frost/Nixon), it saw her as Florence Cathcart, a grief-riddled, pale and interesting ghost-buster of sorts, despatched to stop school boys being scared out of their wits by the goings-on in an isolated boarding school.

Hall spoke to HuffPostUK when the film was released, about how belonging to a family of stage and screen royalty doesn't necessarily make for an easy career.

The atmospheric film also stars Dominic West and Imelda Staunton.
