Television presenter - and Huff Post blogger - Sarah Cawood has given birth to a baby boy - 8lb 5oz Hunter.
The first-time mum, who is engaged to TV producer Andy Merry, hinted on Monday that she was soon set to welcome the new addition to her family, tweeting: "Just off to HAVE A BABY sometime soon.... Last thing to tick off this week's To Do list ;)"
And it seems the former Top of the Pops host is already planning to wet the baby's head, joking to The Sun: "When can I have a gin? It's been nine months."
The star, who suffered a miscarriage last year, is expected to return to her north London home later this week and admits she is nervous about caring for her newborn child.
She said: "Andy and I are thrilled and slightly terrified at the thought of taking a new member of our family home with us. Hunter is a beautiful, healthy baby boy with long legs, just like his dad."
The broadcaster - who previously fronted programmes such as The Girlie Show and Live & Kicking - is due to marry fiance Andy in a Christmas ceremony this year.
A delighted Sarah said: "Our plan has come together - to have a baby, then get married. 2012 is proving to be the most exciting year of our lives."
