Manchester United Forward Bebe Banned From Training At On-Loan Besiktas For 'Private Life Indiscretions' (VIDEO)

Oh Bebe - United Winger Banned From Training While On Loan At Besiktas

Manchester United forward Bebe, on loan at Turkish club Besiktas, has been banned by the Turkish club due to "private life indiscretions".

The Portuguese, along with Júlio Alves and Sidnei, has been prohibited from training-with Kara Kartallar's first team.

Besiktas coach Tayfur Havutcu is believed to be unhappy with his, and his compatriots', attitude. The club announced on their website "a lack of discipline and issues with their personal lives" were the motives behind their ostracising.

Havutcu replaced former coach Carlos Carvalhal in April, and after a 2-0 loss to Istanbul rivals Galatasaray at the weekend, the 41-year-old has decided to stamp his authority.

Bebe and his two team-mates are unlikely to be involved in the weekend's Super Liga Championship play-off fixture against Trabzonspor.

The Bebe crossing show v Wolves:

In August 2010, Bebe joined United for £7m to much bafflement.

Signed when he was 20-years-old and a one-time vagrant who had never played in Portugal's top tier, Sir Alex Ferguson had never seen the winger play. While Bebe's former manager Jorge Paxaio said he could have signed for just £125,000 the previous year.

He went on to make just three starts for the Red Devils, before being loaned out for a season in Turkey in 2011, and is widely considered to be one of the worst players to have played for the club.

It emerged last week his transfer is being investigated by anti-corruption police in Portugal, as £3m of the fee paid appears to have gone missing. His previous club, Vitoria Guimaraes, claimed €3m of the €9m transfer fee was pocketed by super agent Jorge Mendes.

Mendes' clients include Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho, while it is also believed David de Gea's belated confirmation of his transfer to United was in order to allow Mendes to mediate.
