Sir Paul McCartney proved to be a pain in the neck for a female fan as she took away a permanent reminder of her encounter with the superstar.
The 69-year-old musician pulled a young woman from the crowd as he performed at a huge stadium concert in Recife, Brazil, and she asked him to sign her neck.
Natalia Lobo, 21, then rushed off to a tattoo parlour to have his autograph inked on her skin forever, the Press Association reported.
She said: "I was scared his autograph would rub off. I didn't feel any pain.
"Paul was so sweet and kind. I couldn't believe it, it was like a dream come true."
Sir Paul played a pair of shows at Recife's Arruda Stadium as part of his On The Run world tour, performing three-hour sets.
He plays more Brazilian shows this week then moves on to Mexico before returning to the UK for a Diamond Jubilee show in London in June.
