Set in Prohibition-era Virginia and based on a true story, the film follows the infamous Bondurant brothers in their pursuit of the American Dream.
Directed by John Hillcoat, Lawless stars The Help's Jessica Chastain alongside Tom Hardy, Shia Labeouf,Mia Wasikowska and Guy Pearce.
The story is inspired by the tales in Matt Bondurant's own novel The Wettest County In The World, where the loyalty of three brothers is tested amidst the nation's most notorious crime wave.

The film has been put forward for the Palme D'Or at the Cannes Film Festival this year, and is set to be UK cinemas on 31 August.
