Police Appeal Over Missing Mother And Baby

The disappearance of a teenage mother and her newborn son has prompted an appeal for information from police.

Jasmine Woodbridge, 16, gave birth to Jayden on 30 April at Luton and Dunstable Hospital.

Bedfordshire Police said that she left the hospital with her son without telling anyone.

They are now appealing to anyone who may have any idea where the teenager and her son may be.

Detective Inspector Will Hawkes said: "We are concerned that Jasmine left the hospital without informing staff and it is important that anyone who has information relating to their whereabouts speaks to the police as soon as possible.

"Jasmine has gone missing on several occasions before and anyone who may be harbouring Jasmine and her baby should understand that they are committing an offence."

Anyone with information relating to the whereabouts of Jasmine and Jayden should contact Bedfordshire Police on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.
