Discover The Thrill Of 'Bagjump Freedrop Extreme Jumping' (VIDEO)

Could You Jump 30m Down Onto A Bag Full Of Air?

Ever heard of 'blobjumping'? Also known as 'blobbing', it's essentially the art of leaping off a tower onto a big bag of air, then bouncing off it and into a nearby body of water.

'Bagjump Freedrop Extreme Jumping' is similar, but there's no water involved, and limited bouncing. What it amounts to, when you think about it, is recreating the sensation Mel Gibson felt when he leapt off that ledge in Lethal Weapon, but bigger and better (and with fewer handcuffs involved).

Australian company BagJump have released this video we've got for you above explaining the whole thing, even going so far as to take a professional jumper - yep, we're assured this is a thing - by the name of Daniel Mosi and getting him to leap off a 30m tall tower with a camera on a stick to give us at home a better sensation of what it's like.

But if you think this is the end of the line when it comes to totally random and seemingly utterly ridiculous extreme sports - if you can call it that - here are a few more weird and wonderful ways of getting your kicks, starting off with, you guessed it, blobbing!
