Police have serious concerns for the welfare of a father who went missing with his three-year-old daughter on Sunday night.
Rihannah Dawson and her father Javed Khaliq, 33, have not been seen since around 6pm on Sunday in the Thornaby area of Teesside, when it was thought they were heading for Middlesbrough.
Cleveland Police said they may have left the force area and officers "have serious concerns for their welfare".
A police spokeswoman said: "Rihannah is described as white, with long, mousy brown hair and distinctive blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark blue coat, dark jeans and white shoes."
Khaliq is 5ft 6in, with short, dark hair and a beard, and was last seen in a black coat and jeans.
"Anyone who believes they may have seen Javed Khaliq or Rihannah Dawson is asked not to approach them, but to contact police immediately on 999," the spokewoman said.
