Eurovision Song Contest 2012: Semi-final One - BBC3, 8pm
Ever since Engelbert Humperdinck announced he was representing the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest we've been waiting for the competition to heat up. Tonight it's the first semi-final and Scott Mills and Sara Cox will present coverage of the musical extravaganza from the Crystal Hall in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Humperdinck's not the only character to look out for, following their eighth-place finish last year, pop twins Jedward are once again representing Ireland.
Other 'stars' hoping to secure one of the 10 spots available in Saturday's final include hotly tipped acts Russian grannies Buranovskiye Babushki, Danish busker Soluna Samay and Icelandic duo Greta Salome & Jonsi.
