Jose Mourinho has ended speculation over his future by signing a new contract with Real Madrid until 2016.
Conjecture surrounded his role at Madrid when, in January, his media team briefed journalists he was set to quit the Bernabeu in the summer.
However the Portuguese has seemingly had a change of heart, having guided the club to their first Primera Liga title since 2008.
Mourinho arrived in the Spanish capital in 2010, having guided Internazionale to a treble triumph which ended with a Champions League win at the home of his current club.
In his first campaign, Los Blancos defeated Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final to yield their first piece of silverware in three years, before this season's La Liga triumph.
A two-time Premier League winner with Chelsea, he has repeatedly stated his desire to return to the Premier League later in his career, as well as coaching the Portugal national side.
He was spotted house-hunting in London in February this year, which intensified speculation he could be making a return to English football.
