Last night Chris Evans tweeted of how he was rushing to his wife Natasha Shishmanian's bedside after she went into labour.
Luckily The One Show presenter made it back in time to welcome the latest addition to his family - a little boy which the couple have named Eli Alfred Michael Evans.
Chris announced the news of the new arrival on his Radio 2 show this morning, after David Walliams and Alex Jones stepped in to cover for the new dad.
Taking to Twitter afterwards, Chris thanks fans for all their well wishes.
"Eli Alfred Michael Evans says hi ! Can't wait to join you all out there. A nice quiet first day in and then I'll be right with you.
"Thx so much for all the twitter Eli love. It's gonna be one hell of a weekend !! Pint ! After The One Show of course. Xxxx."
Eli was conceived by IVF after Natasha suffered a miscarriage in November 2010, and he will be Chris's third child, as the presenter already has three-year-old son Noah with Natasha and 25-year-old daughter, Jade, from a previous relationship.
