The Voice overnight ratings are in.
In what the BBC are no doubt calling a "respectable" result, more than seven million viewers tuned in to see big-voiced crooner Leanne Mitchell take the first season's title, stealing the crown from runners-up Tyler James and Bo Bruce. WATCH LEANNE'S BIG MOMENT ABOVE.

The official figure of 7.1 million, while being touted as the biggest audience of the night - with peaks at more than 8.1 million - is unavoidably noticeably down on the initial ratings for the talent show, which hovered consistently around the 10 million mark for the first couple of weeks, when the chairs were still spinning.
And in the biggest slight to one of the BBC's biggest programme investments, this was just over half of the audience who tuned in for the Britain's Got Talent final last month - a whopping 13 million saw Pudsey dance to victory (and a recently touted £10,000 a night Las Vegas residency, if reports are to be believed).
The BBC will be relieved at least that ratings picked up for the final after the disastrous figure of four million last week.
When Leanne learned of her victory, her delighted mentor Sir Tom Jones beamed and commented, "It gives me confidence that there is justice in this world."
Whether he'll still be feeling quite so confident when decisions are made as to the line-up for the second series, waits to be seen.
