Sheryl Diagnosed With Brain Tumour

US singer Sheryl Crow has revealed she was diagnosed with a benign brain tumour last year.

The singer - whose hits include All I Wanna Do and Run Baby Run - said the tumour was discovered after she went to hospital to have an MRI scan when she kept experiencing memory loss.

Sheryl admitted she became concerned after forgetting the words to some of her biggest hits on stage - including a show in Florida in May this year when she joked to the crowd: "I'm 50 - what can I say?"

It's not the first time the singer has had a major health scare. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 but beat the disease after a successful course of treatment.
