Emma Webb, School Worker, Accused Of Having Sex With Pupils

School Worker Accused Of Sexual Acts Named As Emma Webb

A female school worker appeared in court on Monday accused of having sex with pupils.

Emma Webb, 41, is facing 19 charges of abusing her position of trust by engaging in sex acts with three boys at a secondary school in Berkshire, which cannot be named for legal reasons.

Webb, who was a cover supervisor and a mentor at the school, also faces one charge of perverting the course of justice, Reading Magistrates' Court heard.

Webb, who was denied bail, is alleged to have had full sex with one of the boys, had oral sex with another and exchanged sex text messages, phone calls and picture messages with another. The boys were aged between 15 and 16 at the time of the alleged offences.

The first five charges relate to a period between 1 September 2010 and November 2010, when Webb is accused of having full sexual intercourse and performing oral sex on a boy under the age of 18.

The next seven charges relate to another boy, who was 15 when he allegedly first started receiving sex calls and text messages from Webb.

When he turned 16, Webb allegedly continued to send text messages and telephone the boy. She also allegedly sent the boy photos in which she performed sex acts on herself. These alleged offences occurred between 1 July 2008 and 1 September 2010, the court heard.

Webb is also accused of performing oral sex on the third boy last Tuesday. She is also alleged to have sexually touched the boy in May and made him touch her.

She was arrested when the boy's mother contacted the police last week.

Webb has been suspended from her position at the school. She is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on 2 July.
