Lily Allen Makes Live Return At Stone Roses Concert

Smile - Lily Allen's Back

Pop star Lily Allen ended her hiatus from music with a cameo appearance onstage at The Stone Roses' concert in England on Saturday.

The Smile hitmaker joined rapper Professor Green during his support slot at the second of the cult British band's three homecoming shows at Manchester's Heaton Park.

Introducing the singer to duet on their hit single Just Be Good To Green, the star told the crowd, "Manchester, make some noise for Lily Allen."

Following the show, Allen took to Twitter to tell fans, "No professorgreen (sic) wasn't swinging a cat around on stage (at) HEATONPARK that was me trying to sing. loved it , thanks manchester".

Allen announced in 2010 that she was taking an indefinite break from music to concentrate on starting a family with her then-boyfriend Sam Cooper.

They wed in June last year and Allen gave birth to daughter Ethel in November, but in April it emerged she was in a recording studio working on new tracks.

The Stone Roses are set to close out their three-night residency on Sunday with support from Bob Marley's band The Wailers and British rapper Plan B.
