Maria Sharapova has been knocked out of Wimbledon after a 4-6 3-6 defeat to German Sabine Lisicki.
Top seed Sharapova, who was seeking successive Grand Slam titles following her win at the French Open last month, bowed out to 15th seed after she aced her third match point on her second serve.
