In the wake of Bob Diamond's resignation, his daughter Nellie has also come into the spotlight, with the former Princeton student posted a series of surprising tweets about her high profile dad on Twitter.
Retweeting posts like 'Bob Diamond has been downgraded to Bob Diamante' and 'Careful people. There's a wanted criminal on the loose in London. One understands his name is Bob Diamond', Nell Diamond appeared to either be exacting revenge on her father or showing off a fierce sense of humour.

However it was one particular tweet (since deleted) that received the most attention, as the 22-year-old apparently typed: "@nelliediamond: George Osborne and Ed Miliband you can go ahead and #HMD"
The Twitterverse began to speculate on what HMD stood for, with some proposing the urban slang 'hold my d***' and others suggesting it meant 'hate my dad.'
However the 22-year-old removed the tweet and has since posted support for her banker father writing: "No one in the world I admire more than my dad. 16yrs building Barclays. Shame to see the mistakes of few tarnish the hard work of so many."
