Magic Mike is Channing Tatum's baby, and in the clip above, it's clear why.
The film, loosely based on Tatum's brief teenage career as a stripper, sees him star as Mike, the top performer at an exotic-dancing club in Tampa, Florida.
Mike (Tatum) spots potential in a young newbie (Alex Pettyfer) whom he calls The Kid and shows him the best the world of stripping has to offer at the club owned by Matthew McConaughey's character.
In the clip above McConaughey, six-pack readily on show, is seen introducing Tatum to an adoring crowd, while love interest Brooke (Cody Horn) looks on.
Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer also star as firemen, cops and other exaggerated versions of hyper-masculine characters in the Steven Soderbergh film.
