In southern Alaska there's a town called Talkeetna. As well as having a beautiful name, it's also got a beautiful mayor - well, if you appreciate feline beauty, at any rate.
The 15-year-old moggy has been mayor of the town for, well, 15 years now, getting the gig just a few days after being born - something Obama will never be able to boast about.
Speaking to ksdk.com, the mayor's assistant, Lauri Stec, explains just what a great leader he is: "He's good. He's probably the best we've ever had. He was just in the Alaska Magazine, and he's been featured in a few different things."
As for his name, well, that's Mayor Stubbs - something that reminds us of "They Call Me MISTER Tibbs!" for some reason - and if you happen to be in Talkeetna any time soon, be sure to head for Nagley's General Store and look for the cat with a stubby tail... though be sure to bow appropriately, of course.
