David Beckham Puts In Superhuman Effort Ahead Of London Olympic 2012 Opening Ceremony - But What Happened To His Tash? (PICTURES)

SuperBecks And His Superhuman Week

David Beckham has been dubbed Captain Fantastic in the past - and this week he's certainly been putting in a superhuman performance.

For most people, jetting across the Atlantic is something which takes a couple of days to recover from - but not Beckham.

In the days leading up to the Olympic opening ceremony (which Beckham has confirmed he'll be at) he has:

  • Played two matches in the USA
  • Shocked a fan into tears in London
  • Met Muhammad Ali
  • Visited the Olympic Stadium
  • And on Thursday:

  • He lobbied PM David Cameron

And somewhere in the middle of all this he managed to shave off his over-grown moustache! Take a look at Beckham's week from heaven...

SUNDAY

It started off with a 90mins kick in the park as Beckham played in LA Galaxy's 3-1 defeat against Chivas.

TUESDAY

A moderately relaxed day as Beckham headed to the Olympic stadium for a sniff about ahead of the opening ceremony before heading off to share the stage with the iconic Muhammad Ali for an award presentation. NB: The moustache had gone!

WEDNESDAY

At some point Beckham managed to jump into a private jet and head to Pennsylvania to play alongside John Terry and Frank Lampard as the Major League Soccer All Stars played Chelsea at PPL Park.
