Jessica Ennis To Appear On 'The Jonathan Ross Show'

Jessica Ennis Gets First Big Chat Show Appearance

Olympic gold medallist Jessica Ennis is set to open up about her tremendous experience at the Games to Jonathan Ross , when his chat show returns next week, reports The Sun.

Heptathlete Ennis will take her place on the red sofa, along with showbiz favourites Colin Farrell, Kelly Brook and Rita Ora.

Ennis is not the first member of Team GB to be approached for a TV slot since success at the games - swimming sensation Rebecca Adlington has been linked to BBC ballroom contest Strictly Come Dancing.

The Sun has also suggested ITV are trying to sign up Bradley Wiggins for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, after silver medallist javelin thrower Fatima Whitbread was such a hit last year.

Sunday night saw the London 2012 Olympic Games draw to a close with a huge concert, including performances from the Spice Girls, One Direction, Queen, The Who and Jessie J.

Team GB have celebrated their impressive medal haul - 29 golds, 16 silvers and 19 bronze, with a video message titled Don't Stop Us Now.

Superstar athletes Sir Chris Hoy, Ennis, Victoria Pendleton, Louis Smith and Pete Reed are just a few of the winning sportsmen and women featured in the version of the Queen hit, put on YouTube by Adidas - and David Beckham gets in on the action too.
