Gamescom 2012 has kicked off in Cologne, Germany, and HuffPost UK is there for all the big announcements.
The first big press conference we're attending this year is hosted by EA, who are set to make headlines with news about Sim City, Crysis 3, Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel, Fifa 12, Medal of Honor: Warfighter and more.
In fact, it's been rumoured hours before the press conference that a massive new title might be on the cards: Half Life 3.

Of course it's Valve who make Half Life... but who distributed Half Life 2? EA.
We don't know if that's happening yet, but if it is then this could be the biggest news of Gamescom.
