Leona Lewis has announced details of her next single, from her forthcoming album Glassheart.
Trouble, a track written by British writers including Emeli Sande, will get its first radio play next Tuesday on Radio 1, and features US rapper Childish Gambino.
The single, described as "an anguished epic journey that reveals ethereal, haunting tones that simultaneously showcase the sheer power and intimacy of Leona’s incredible voice", will be released on 7 October and her album will arrive a week later.
Describing the song, Lewis, who has sold more than 20 million singles and albums since winning the X Factor, said: "Trouble tells the story of love going bad and becoming destructive, aspects of which we can all relate to. It’s a deeply emotional and poignant song that I have a real connection to."
And talking about the collaboration with Childish Gambino, Leona said: "I wanted someone who was creative and poetic and witty and he ticks all those boxes and complements the record perfectly."
